About

Namaste,

Through the blog, I aim to articulate my thoughts in an attempt to connect with other crazy dreamers(I believe we all are one) out there.

If you were to ask my parents, they would say am nothing but a crazy dreamer, a rebel who is more idealist than a realist;  In my opinion, I am a simple person who is trying to do what he loves. I believe we all have the power to create the world of our dreams(Or shape the real one as close as possible to it) & I aim to be the change I wish to see. Funnily, In this seemingly sane world, I have often been referred to as crazy for simply following my heart.

Post doing my B-Tech. from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, I left my college placement to pursue my calling, post seeing a kid steal at Delhi railway station. Being a die-hard patriot, I was shocked by the state of children in my country & wanted to do something about it. Thus, I joined Teach For India.  Ever since that day, I have been striving towards my purpose of enabling people, through education to have more power over their life choices.

The way I live my life draws huge inspiration from the lines of the following poem by Allama Iqbal:

Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqder se pehle
Khuda bande se ye poche bata teri raza kia hai

(Raise thyself to such heights, That God Himself may Ask-

What do you wish me to write your fate ?)

I am on a personal journey towards my purpose and I hope to have the strength to keep striving towards it. Though I can speak a lot, I understand and respect the value of action. I value honesty a lot in my life and my close group friends know me as a genuine person inside out. I would rather lose people/opportunities than be fake. I believe in trusting people first rather then being skeptical and the people who gain my trust know that they can fall back on me anytime.

I hope that i can raise myself to such a level of purity and integrity so as to have the courage to stand up for my principles as and when required. Most of my thoughts/principles/ideas are still getting shaped and my writing would demonstrate just that. Also, as of now, I feel stifled by even the mere thought of binding myself down with one ideology and thus, i keep jumping from one to another, keeping points i connect to and ignoring the rest.

My posts would be random, weird, strange but they will all be genuine for i write only when i feel like penning down something. My post would show you the real picture(from my perspective) and I hope you like them. Do leave a comment and join me if u like my work. I on my part would continue striving ahead on my path and keep on attempting to sing my song with utmost of purity.  For any feedback/criticism/query or even a simple hello, do get in touch: nakul@justacrazydreamer.com  🙂

Love and Peace

  1. “Most of my thoughts/principles/ideas are still getting shaped and my writing would demonstrate just that.” I think you’ve spoken for everyone. When I read things I wrote ten years ago, I rarely agree with what I believed to be true at that time. May you find the answers for which you seek. 🙂

Thanks for following Lessons by Heart. It’s nice to ‘e-meet’ you!

  9. Thanks for checking out my blog Nakularora, Did we met in Varanasi? I actually just came from there. Do you know Nadi? I like the description of yourself, I think we have a lot in common and a lot to talk about. I’m a pretty radical theorist myself. alixtate.com

  10. Thanks for visiting my blog and liking that silly post. I am absolutely stunned at the work, the determination and the kind of unconventional thought process a person of my age can exhibit. I did my undergrad from LSR, and that college places immense stress on Social work. I had joined khushi and goonj both during those days. And I felt like a speck of dust in the vast universe. Those days I was torn between understanding that I was not meant to be a social worker and otherwise. I could not handle it when a 10 year old kid would come running into the class and abuse me with the worst possible word when I would ask him to chuck that tobacco. I was strong but I broke down at events of eve-teasing. I did not have the desired level of patience or kindness and I also wanted to bring about a change.
    Oh well.
I guess this rant is just my slightly guilty self-conscience. And yeah now I help the society- by laughing, and making others laugh. Sometimes that helps me conceal a lot of other emotions as well. Also. I have visited just about every region in Kumaon that you mentioned in your articles. It brought back a lot of memories. Super duper good luck on your mission. You’re a blessed soul. Peace.

    • Thank you for the extremely kind words. Your comment is beautifully honest. I am happy you shared your story with me, It feels nice to have a peek into the lives of complete strangers. I am glad I liked your post or else I would have missed out on a beautiful though small connection with you. Wish you all luck with your endeavors too. Take Care. 🙂

  14. You are quite a rare person. What I mean is that, giving time to your passion as well as helping the nation a a big leap for you and to your country. Most of the people today (but not all) have no trust in their government. I salute you for your venture. I hope the virus your spreading will reach beyond your expectation.

Good day to you!..I just follow you and if you have time to check mine.

    • Thank you so much for the kind words, my dear friend. I believe each one of is unique and rare. I am simply trying to follow my heart and yes, I don’t believe any government is fully bad or good. In-fact, governments are nothing but a reflection of the society that has elected them in the first place or in case of a dictator, has ensured that their power remains. I will surely go through your blog. Take Care.. 🙂
