The love that the kids shower on you every day makes you want to give teaching them all that you possibly have. Thus, planning becomes a very important aspect, one that is most essential in taking a teacher up from the normal level to the level at which he/she can claim to be a transformational. What most of us at TFI find easy to do is make a weekly plan up ahead for the whole week, for then you can prepare daily differentiated lesson’s for the different group kids in your class. Differentiated lesson planning is one which ensures that the needs of each of the kids are kept in mind and the lesson is made such that there is ample scope for all kids, from the sharp ones who pick up things fast to the not so fast ones, to improve equally. Its very important to differentiate for the very simple reason, since every kid is different, you can’t possibly use the same teaching technique for all of them alike and the only way you can get time to prepare differentiated lessons on a daily basis is if you plan up for the entire week before it starts. I will be sharing the Weekly Agenda Planner that i have designed for myself and which helps me be on track with my teaching and lets me focus on other things through the week:
